Prof. Xiaoqing Feng Invited to Attend the Seminar of “Research on Legal Issues of Trademark infringement or Unfair Competition with Respect to Enterprise Name”

Prof. Xiaoqing Feng was invitedby the Beijing Junce Intellectual Property Development Center to attend the seminar of “Research on Legal Issues of Trademark infringement or Unfair Competition with Respect to Enterprise Name” on Jul. 9^th, 2015. The seminar was hosted by the Foreign Quality Brands Protection Committee, and commissioned by Beijing Junce Intellectual Property Development Center. The guests of this seminar included the Vice-director of State Trademark Office and the member of Intellectual Property Judicial Protection Research Center Committee of Supreme People’s Court Baolin Dong, the Director of AACEB, SAIC Changhong Du, Judges of Beijing Intelelctual Property Court Zhanheng Hou and Wenjun Zhou, the Director of Enterprise Supervision, SAIC Guangcheng Lei, the Director of Intelelctual Property Center, China Academy of Social Science and Prof. Mingde Li, the Director of University of Chinese Academy of Science and Prof. Shunde Li, the Director of Trademark Division of Beijing Trademark Office Kaoli Sun, Presiding Judge Jun Tao of Intellectual Property Division of Beijing High People’s Court, the Vice-director of Trademark Supervision Division, SAIC Chunhui Wang, and the Vice-secretary Yun Xiao of China Trademark Association. The seminar conducted thorough and deep-level discussion on issues such as the nature of industrial and commercial registration on enterprises, the range of rights on enterprise name, the administrative remedy options and the procedure to inappropriate enterprise name, and the enforcement of civil adjudication on the cease and regulation of enterprise name. Prof. Xiaoqing Feng, as the invited expert, made specialized speech in the subject of the regulation and improvement on enterprise name system, the conflict of rights, and judicial protection.

Former Vice-director of State Trademark Office and Director of Beijing Junce Intellectual Property Development Center Zhongqiang Cao hosted the seminar. The seminar reached a great success.
