Associate Prof. Jian Chen Attended 2015 Internet Regulation Research Conference

The“2015 Internet Regulation Research Conference: the Environmental Innovation of Policy and Regulation in Big Data Age” was held in Beijing on Jun. 28th, 2015. The conference was hosted by the Research Center of Internet Regulation, Policy and Law Committee of China E-Commerce Association, and the Internet Competing Policy and Innovation Forum. Meanwhile, the conference is the specialized forum for the discussion on development theory in big data age, industry characteristics, policy demands, and interactive seminar by various participants from different communities in the subject of law and regulation. Associate Prof. Jian Chen of the Institute of Intellectual Property of CCELS, CUPL attended this conference.

All participants in the conference argued that E-Commerce has become the new growth point for national economy and critical prerequisite for national structure modification with the aid of big data and cloud computing. With the advent of big date age, we are both beneficiary and creators. Such phenomenon not only demands our thoroughperception and preparation, but requires our courage and wisdom for modification and reform in order to adapt to the tide of historical development. Under the circumstances, we are able to create better legal environment for relevant industry in information age and the entire social progress, promote the stable development of internet industry, and truly achieve the social reform and innovation.
