Prof. Lihua Yang is Associate Professor of Law, thesis supervisor, member of China Intellectual Property Law Research Association, and PHD in law of Renmin University.
Her area of focus lies in intellectual property law, legal system and history of intellectual property, and management of intellectual property information. Prof. Yang hosted 2013 Annual Project “Research on China IP Theory History” under Ministry of Justice, 2009 Annual Science Project “Research on Patent System and History in Tai Wan” by State Intellectual Property Office, participated in 2010 Major Project of National Social Service Foundation “Construction of National Intellectual Property Document and Information Database”, 2009 Annual Major Project of National Social Service Foundation “Research on Intellectual Property System with Chinese Characteristics” and other 10 projects. She published Research on the History of US Patent Law as well as over 20 law articles in core journals. As a result, she had significant influence in the field of IP history.
